Things are finally slowing down as I wrap up my preparations for the trip. I'm ready to have something different to write about besides errands!
Today I woke up and realized I barely had anything to do today. I packed like, Sunday night, including bath stuff, documents, electronics and even picked out my outfit for the plane. Waves of boredom overcame me. Ironically, I spend so much time wishing "if only" and when I finally have no pending duties, I feel immensely worthless and want to crawl back in bed. The problem with packing so early is 1) forgetting you packed an item and, fearing you've lost it, tear everything apart only to find it safely tucked away in your suitcase & 2) desperately needing an item and ruining your neatly rolled clothes once again to retrieve it. Point #2 has been repeated many times for my rain coat and running shoes. It's been raining in Wilmington quite a bit, and today is FINALLY sunny, so I will be headed to the beach...as soon as I locate my packed bikini.
