I have safely arrived in Auckland after the grueling 12 hour flight. Seriously, what a treck. Anyway, I met a few lovely people on the plane who I hopefully will be meeting up with down the road so it was worth the skin crawling feeling I have right now due to the jet lag.
Clearly I brought the weather with me, because the rainclouds cleared up as soon as I was dropped off at the hostel and I've been able to enjoy a fabulous afternoon walking around the harbor checking out the interesting architecture, massive yatchs, and this weird bundgy-drop of sorts that is in the middle of central Auck. I took some cool pictures which I'll upload soon when I can use my laptop for free in the IEP office.
